The representative of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Olga Kobtseva put the blame for the explosion on the gas pipeline laid on the LPR territory on the Ukrainian side on January 15.

“The beginning of 2021 was marked by another terrorist attack committed by the Ukrainian side. Today around 5 a.m., a branch pipe of the main gas pipeline with a diameter of 273 mm was blown up near Glafirovka settlement,” Kobtseva said reporters at a briefing.

Neither official Kiev authorities nor the Ukrainian army’s representatives commented on the incident so far.

According to the LPR People’s Militia, Ukrainian army units are being redeployed in the area near Troitskoye village.
