The Ukrainian army fired high-explosive shells on Leninskoye village in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) informed on December 29.
It was noted that the Ukrainian military opened fire in the direction of Vodyanoye-Leninskoye. Vodyanoye is under the control of the Ukrainian side, Leninskoye is under the control of the DPR.
“12 120mm high-explosive shells were fired,” the message reads.
According to the JCCCC, the Ukrainian side violated the ceasefire regime seven times in the last 24 hours. There were no casualties among the residents and servicemen of the DPR People’s Militia. The residential buildings and infrastructure of the shelled villages were not damaged.
