The international coalition forces transported two high-ranking terrorists from Syria to Iraq’s capital on December 18, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria reports.
According to the source, these terrorists held leadership positions in ISIL (organization banned in Russia). One of the terrorists has Portuguese citizenship, the other is Belgian.
While in Syria, these militants were held at Ghweran prison, located in the northeastern city of Hasakah, which is mainly controlled by the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The militants were taken from the Ghweran prison to a military base near the city of al-Shaddadi in the same province, and from there to Baghdad.
