Turkey begins to build a new military base in northern Syria

The Turkish military started to construct a new military base on December 8 in northern Syria, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria informed.

According to the source, the base is being constructed to the north of Ayn Issa town in the Syrian province of Rakka. The construction site is located two kilometers from Seida village.

On November 30, the Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria informed that Ayn Issa residents continued to leave the town in large numbers amid rising tensions in the region and fear of Turkish military operations in the area.
