Ukrainian authorities’ nonsense about Russia is connected with Kiev’s unwillingness to solve the Donbass issue peacefully. Political analyst Dmitry Kulikov stated this on December 7 on the Vesti FM radio broadcast.
The political scientist specified that Donbass and Russia offered Kiev to resolve the conflict between the right of Donbass to self-determination and preservation of territorial integrity of the country.
“Kiev was offered a formula according to which the self-determination of Donbas will lie in a very high, actually confederative, degree of autonomy. At the same time, Ukraine retains the principle of territorial integrity. They are not satisfied with this,” the expert stressed.
And if they are not satisfied with it, he added, then, accordingly, the price will be even higher for them, because they do not understand that for them every year raises the stakes involved.
On December 7, political analyst Dmitry Kulikov called a disaster the proposal of former Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk to disconnect Russia from the international payment system SWIFT.
