Kurginyan: Scientists are persecuted for speaking about artificial insertion into the coronavirus

02.12.2020, Moscow.

The persecution of experts speaking about the artificial nature of the coronavirus is strange in the setting of the pandemic, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on November 29 on the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.

The political scientist reminded how French scientist and Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier was attacked after his statement about artificial components of the virus.

“Now another expert is speaking, and he says carefully ‘Guys, I will not say anything. There are these three insertions in the genome as. Perhaps they could be evolutionary, but the fourth one cannot, and you all understand this. Then why do you keep silent?’” Kurginyan explained.

Previously, Etienne Decroly, a senior researcher at Aix-Marseille University (France)  reported that the SARS-CoV-2 gene coding the spike protein contains four insertions of short sequences, which do not occur in most genetically similar human coronaviruses. These insertions are probably responsible for the exceptional properties of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

According to investigations, three of the four insertions observed in SARS-CoV-2 can be found in older coronavirus strains. The fourth insertion, however, is a result of experiments aimed at transferring the animal virus to humans, because this kind of insertion is well known to be essential for spreading many pathogens in humans.
