Residents of Shaddadi city in the Hasaka province protested against the actions of US-allied Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces military groups on November 30, a Rossa Primavera News Agency in Syria informs.
“Residents of Shaddadi city blocked the main roads, demanding from the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to release prisoners and improve the state of medicine and living standards in the city and its surroundings,” the source said.
According to the SANA agency, hundreds of people went to the protest. They gathered at the eastern entrance of the city and demanded that the SDF lift its ban on travel to the administrative center.
The largest US base in Syria is located near Shaddadi city. The Kurdish SDF are allies with the US military contingent operating in northern Syria.
