Kurginyan: Pashinyan will sabotage Russia in Karabakh if he remains in power

11.11.2020, Moscow.

Any success of the Russian peacekeeping mission in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be reduced to nothing if the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan remains in power, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on November 10 on the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.

According to the political scientist, the US and British intelligence services are behind the actions of Turkish President  Recep Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, curating them as they had curated their terrorist predecessors who proclaimed the building of a caliphate.

“I think we managed to secure a small success from a hopeless situation. If a person who is as connected with Moore (the head of the MI6 British intelligence service Richard Moore ― Rossa Primavera News Agency) etc. as all the others like Erdoğan and Aliyev are, this success will be reduced to nothing, or it will turn negative,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.

According to the political scientist, Armenia’s link with the West, personified in Pashinyan, must first be broken. He must be removed from power.

“We are talking about the Armenian national spirit. If Armenia after this shame, and this is a shame for it, can do nothing, then it will fail. We do not want this to happen. If there is any national spirit, this national spirit will remove Pashinyan,” Kurginyan stressed.

The leader of Essence of Time pointed out that Russia should prepare for the difficulties of a new Turkey as a neighbor.

“Erdoğan has tasted this blood as well as the others, and we have to know what this means. This means that he is at our gate. And we must have a strategic attitude to this, making really major changes to many parameters of our life,” Kurginyan concluded.

On the program, the discussion focused on the current situation in Transcaucasia after the Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire conditions were signed and Russian peacekeepers were deployed to the contact line.

Also, the roles of the Turkish leaders and the Western countries in the instigation and further escalation of the conflict were discussed. The guests expressed their opinions regarding what the Russian administration should do to meet the new threat.
