"If the USSR collapsed, why couldn't the USA collapse after the US elections 2020?"

06.11.2020, Moscow.

If the Soviet Union collapsed and the Communist Party was banned after perestroika, it might well be that the events in the USA will also end in disintegration, Sergey Chernyakhovsky, political scientist, doctor of political sciences, full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, said to a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s correspondent on November 6.

“Of course, I do not really believe in a civil war in the USA, now. But even during perestroika I did not believe at all in the collapse of the Soviet Union. If the USSR collapsed and the Communist Party was banned, why, strictly speaking, couldn’t the United States collapse after the elections 2020?” Chernyakhovsky noted.

According to the political scientist, behind all political disasters there is a deep cultural and economic stratification of society. “We are usually used to talking about the division between workers and exploiters, which is also certainly right. A socialist and socialist theorist like Saint-Simon saw a slightly different division between workers and parasites. He referred to workers as representatives of industrial enterprises and workers. And as parasites he referred to bankers, PR, and lawyers,” he explained.

Chernyakhovsky believes that in the United States there was a division according to Saint-Simon: between “workers” who support Trump and “parasites” who support Biden.

“The entire population of New York City, which is not related to the real sector, can be attributed to traders, managers, PR – these are “parasites” according to Saint-Simon. These people do not create significant values, but participate in their distribution,” the doctor of political science stressed.

In addition to the factor of cultural and economic stratification, the division between national and transnational forces plays its role, which is very important throughout the world, the political scientist believes.

“The fact is that contemporary nations, they emerged, of course, on the basis of language and history, but only when an economic consolidation was added to them, that is, when national markets emerged. Without a market, this is an ethnic group. But since then, the market has gone beyond the historical boundaries of individual countries and become a global one. Hence, there is an objective contradiction between what has created the nation, that is, the economic justification for its existence and what it has become. We can say that the nation gave birth to its gravedigger,” the doctor of political sciences explained.

Chernyakhovsky pointed out that there would be nothing good for the world, and in particular for Russia, if the US collapsed.

“What is better for us? The existing USA with a president who is able to control something on certain territory or the USA in chaos, in which there will be no one to negotiate. And no one will be able to bring everything in order,” the political scientist concluded.

On November 3, the elections of 46th US president took place in the USA. The main presidential contenders were the incumbent US president Donald Trump from Republican party and the candidate from Democratic party Joe Biden.

According to the witnesses and other sources, during the presidential elections of 2020 in several cities of the USA, the ballot boxes were stuffed with fraudulent ballots in favour of the candidate from the Democratic party Joe Biden. It is reported that at least 130,000 ballots were stuffed in Detroit for the Democratic candidate.
