Azerbaijani Armed Forces hit the maternity hospital in the capital of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Stepanakert with Smerch multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) missiles. The State Service for Emergency Situations of the Republic informed on November 3.
“According to preliminary data, one civilian was injured and was taken to hospital. Also, fire was opened on residential areas; garage and car were on fire, significant damage was caused to residential buildings located nearby,” the statement reads.
Besides, according to the emergency service, the Azerbaijani military fired three Smerch missiles in the direction of Shusha. As a result, a fire broke out in two residential buildings. The information about the victims is being specified.
The maternity hospital in Stepanakert was already hit by missiles in late October.
