The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) air defense destroyed a Bayraktar strike drone, the press service of the Artsakh Defense Forces reported on October 29.
In the early hours and morning of October 29 Azerbaijan resumed massed shelling of the towns and villages of Artsakh. As before, the cities of Stepanakert and Shushi were shelled.
Reportedly, the air defense of Artsakh destroyed one more Turkish-made Bayraktar strike drone.
After the escalation of the Karabakh conflict began on September 27, Azerbaijan and Turkey widely use drones for reconnaissance and strikes against the Artsakh Defense Forces. Over the period of combat, the Artsakh air defense has destroyed over 200 enemy drones. According to a number of military experts, Azerbaijani and Turkish drones are successfully destroyed due to the use of Russian-made Krasukha electronic warfare systems and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.
