The units of the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire at the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic four times over 24 hours, the representative of the DPR at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ceasefire (JCCCC) reported on October 22.
According to the representative, on October 21 the Ukrainian military shelled the villages of Leninskoye, Mineralnoye, and the Trudovskaya mine settlement in Donetsk using an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher, an RPG-7 anti-tank grenade launcher, and the small arms were also used.
Observers reported an incident of shelling on 11.35 AM (Moscow time zone) from the positions of the 36th Brigade of the Ukrainian navy near the village of Talakovka against the village of Leninskoye, where 3 grenades were fired from an AGS-17. At 12.40 PM (Moscow time zone) the servicemen from the 54th Brigade in Avdeevka fired 2 grenades from an RPG-7 against Mineralnoye.
At 12.55 PM (Moscow time zone) the servicemen of the 36th Brigade opened fire using small arms on Leninskoye. At 4:55 PM (Moscow time zone) the units of the 79th Brigade in Marinka fired 6 grenades from an AGS-17 against the settlement of the Trudovskaya mine.
The observers reported an explosion of unknown nature at the position of the 36th Brigade in Vodyanoye and a reconnaissance drone launched near the village of Petrovskoye.
The statements stressed that no victims or damage were reported.
On October 20, the JCCCC observers reported three incidents of ceasefire violation by the Ukrainian army. The latter shelled the villages of Mineralnoye and Spartak using 82-mm mortars, RPG-7, AGS-17, and large-caliber machine guns.
