Thirteen ceasefire violations registered in Syria over the day

The ceasefire was violated thirteen times in the Syrian Arab Republic over the past 24 hours, as stated in the bulletin published on the Russian Defense Ministry web site on October 11.

The matter concerns thirteen facts of ceasefire violations in three provinces – Aleppo (9 violations), Idlib (2 violations) and Hama (2 violations) that were included in Syrian military’s report.

The Russian side in the joint Russian-Turkish commission for ceasefire monitoring in Syria registered only two ceasefire violation over the day (both in Latakia province).

The Turkish military registered six ceasefire violation in the past 24 hours, but Russian experts confirmed none of them.

In the past 24 hours, the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic has conducted two humanitarian operations – 440 food packages were delivered to Damlakhiya-Kebira in the Hasaka province and El Nuaymah in Daraa Province.

Since March 6 2020, ceasefire was established in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The guarantors of the agreement are Russia and Turkey.
