Syrian army stops militants’ vicious breakthrough attempt

Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units stopped militants’ breakthrough in the east of Hama province in Syria, a Rossa Primavera News Agency source in Syria informs on October 9.

“SAA has repelled a violent attack by armed terrorist groups in the east of the city of Salamiyah,” reports the source. Militants attempted to break through the Syrian army defense line near the villages of Al-Tanahij, Jabal Al-Fasid, and Hakl Tuweinan.

The attack took place on Wednesday, October 7. According to the source, there are killed and wounded among the militants. Losses among the government forces were not reported.
