Armenian united information center released information about civilians killed as a result of Azerbaijan’s rocket strikes of villages and towns on October 8.
It is reported that since the beginning of combats on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) 22 civilians were killed and 95 wounded as a result of striking the populated areas by Azerbaijani armed forces.
“Besides, 5800 residential houses, buildings and other objects were destroyed and damaged,” the report says.
Earlier it was reported that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces struck the Cathedral of St. Savior Kazanchetsots in Shushi twice a day, injuring 10 people, including three journalists.
The European Court of Human Rights called on warring sides to abandon the use of weapons systems on civilian objects, but Azerbaijan continues to subject peaceful objects of Artsakh to missile strikes.
