The resolution of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh must take place now and not 30 years later, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said on October 3 during an interview to the TV channel Al Jazeera.
“We don’t have time to wait another 30 years. The conflict must be resolved now,” responded Aliyev to a journalist’s question. Later the text of interview was published by the Azerbaijani President’s Press Service.
The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh emerged once again on September 27, 2020. Armenia and Azerbaijan condemn each other for provoking the violence.
Now there are hostilities along the contact line with the use of heavy weapons and aircraft. Neither of the parties to the conflict has not yet achieved a considerable military success.
