Two ceasefire violations registered over 24 hours in Syria

The Russian side in the joint Russian-Turkish commission for ceasefire monitoring in Syria registered two violations over 24 hours in Syria, according to an information bulletin published on October 1 on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website.

The bulletin reads that that two incidents of opening fire were registered in Latakia and Aleppo provinces.

Over the last 24 hours, Turkish side did not register any violations of ceasefire.

In the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic conducted four humanitarian actions – 440 food packages were delivered to the city of Duma (Damascus province), villages of Mrejeb el-Shimali (Idlib province), Umm Safa (Raqqa province), and Dabbana (Hasaka province).

Since 6 March 2020, ceasefire was established in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The guarantors of the agreement are Russia and Turkey.
