Kurginyan: Russia dealt Kiev’s diplomacy a defeat with the Minsk agreements

21.09.2020, Moscow.

The Minsk agreements have become a defeat for Ukrainian diplomacy, said political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 16 in the program Evening with Vladimir Solovyov on the Russia One TV channel.

The Minsk Agreements are the result of  Ukraine sustaining a moderate defeat” in the diplomatic arena, the expert believes. Kiev was forced to sign these agreements and get a bad alternative at any outcome. “They were defeated, and they signed. The day after they were signed, they think: ‘What have we signed?’ Lavrov went out and said: yes, it is better than one could expect,” reminded Kurginyan.

Classical international diplomacy is dying and the world is “entering into some new phase of the process.” In the political game, there remains only the question of “how to make Ukrainians cancel the ‘Minsk agreements to the end’,” said the leader of “Essence of Time” movement.

Kurginyan explained that the US needs anti-Russian forces in power in Ukraine in order to solve two problems. “The first task is for them not to get closer to Russia. Brzezinski explained this long ago – once they get closer – there will be an empire, if not then no.” The second desired task for the United States is to send Ukraine to fight Russia. “It is necessary to fight with Russia. There is nothing else. To the last Ukrainian, to the complete destruction of the Ukrainian economy, to anything,” the political scientist explained.

There are no other goals, as it fully coincides with Bandera’s thesis that while the Muscovites are alive, as long as there is a Moskal state, no restoration of the correct [from the Bandera’s point of view] Bandera-terrorist Ukraine is possible,” said Kurginyan.
