Cholinesterase inhibitors were not detected in Alexei Navalny’s blood during the examination in Omsk hospital. The head of an acute intoxication department of Omsk City Clinical Emergency Care Hospital No 1 Aleksandr Sabayev told the journalists about this on August 24.
Aleksandr Sabayev stated that at the time of admission to the hospital Navalny was tested for “a wide range of narcotic, synthetic substances, psychedelics and medicinal substances, including cholinesterase inhibitors.”
The result of the tests came back negative, no cholinesterase inhibitors were found.
Also, doctors informed that blogger Alexei Navalny is still in a coma, his condition is serious, but at the moment there is no acute threat to life.
On August 23, Navalny was transferred from Omsk hospital to German clinic Charite, where it was stated that Navalny was poisoned with a substance from a group of cholinesterase inhibitors. Examinations are still being conducted to make a more accurate diagnosis.
Earlier, during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow, Navalny felt bad, and the plane went on emergency landing. On August 20, he was taken to the Omsk hospital in the intensive care unit.
