Russia registeres three violations of the ceasefire in Syria over 24 hours

The Russian side in the joint Russian-Turkish commission for ceasefire monitoring in Syria registered three violations of ceasefire over a 24 hours according to an information bulletin published on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website on August 12.

It is reported that the fire was opened three times in Aleppo (1 violation) and Idlib (2 violations) provinces.

The Turkish side also registered three violations of the ceasefire for the past 24 hours in the provinces of Latakia (1 violation) and Idlib (2 violations).

In the past 24 hours, the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic carried out one humanitarian action; 440 food packages delivered to Khirbet Jammu locality (in the Hasaka province).

Since March 6 2020, ceasefire was established in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The guarantors of the agreement are Russia and Turkey.
