Three people were injured on August 4 after fire has been opened on a demonstration in the village of Al-Hawaij in eastern Deir Ez-Zor province, SANA Syrian news agency informs.
According to the agency, members of the Syrian Democratic Forces opened fire on protesters Al-Hawaij village, who protested against the actions of the US-led international coalition in the region; in particular, they demanded that the Americans investigated the murder of one of the sheikhs of the Al-Akidat tribe.
On August 3, unknown persons shot dead a sheikh of the Al-Akidat tribe Amtashar Ahmoud Al-Khafl and his driver in the village of Al-Hawaij.
