Russian military saves a village in Syria’s Raqqa from hunger

Military personnel of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria carried out a humanitarian action in Raqqa province, the Russian Defence Ministry reports on July 31.

The Russian military delivered 440 food kits to the village of Tamila, located in Raqqa province. Their total weight amounted to 2.1 tons.

Since the beginning of the settlement of the conflict in Syria, the Russian Center has carried out 2467 humanitarian actions. As a result, the Syrian population was provided with 4105 tons of food and other essentials.
