Russia reports 11 ceasefire violations in Syria over 24 hours

Russia reported 11 violations of ceasefire based on the operation of the joint Russian-Turkish commission for ceasefire monitoring in Syria, according to an information bulletin published on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website on July 30.

11 incidents of fire were reported in the provinces of Idlib (8 violations), Aleppo (2 violations), and Latakia (1 violation).

The Turkish side reported one ceasefire violation in the province of Idlib over the past 24 hours.

In the past 24 hours, the Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring carried out one humanitarian action delivering 250 food packages to the town of Rah El Hawa (the province of Idlib) and another 440 in the town of Umm Jihash (the province of Raqqa).

From March 6, 2020, a ceasefire regime is in place in the Idlib de-escalation zone guaranteed by Russia and Turkey.
