LPR Ministry of State Security: Ukrainian special forces units increase activity in Donbass

Ukrainian sabotage-reconnaissance groups (SRGs) increased their activity along the separation line between the opposing sides in Donbass in July, according to the Public Relations Center (PRC) of the Ministry of State Security of the Lugansk People’s Republic.

According to the PRC, Kiev “systematically deploys SRGs in the ‘grey zones’ near the contact line,” sometimes with foreign mercenaries.

The press service reported deaths of foreign nationals in the Ukrainian SRGs, revealing the names of the Ukrainian army units where the killed foreign mercenaries served.

Reportedly, a US national Ing Justin Antony, born December 31, 1985, who served as a senior gunman in a marine unit of the 137 independent marine battalion of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian army.

The Ukrainian commanders reportedly used him in special operations at the separation line in Donbass.

According to Ukrainian General Staff, at least one hundred foreign nationals were serving in Ukrainian army in 2016.
