Domination is invaluable to neoconservatives, noted the leader of the Essence of Time movement and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan in “The Meaning of the Game” broadcast called “Trotskyism and Neoconservatism in the US as the Current Crisis Makers” published on the movement’s You Tube channel on July 23.
“Absolute global domination by the US is the main idea of neoconservatives. What this domination will bring to the world and to Americans in particular is irrelevant. Domination is invaluable in itself. And the more violent the better,” Sergey Kurginyan explained the neocons’ position.
Francis Fukuyama, one of the first-wave neocons, in his book America at a Crossroads noted: neoconservatives are interested in the future of humanity and domination, said the political scientist. “This and only this [domination], not some kind of benefit of the American people,” this is how Sergey Kurginyan characterizes the view by part of the US elites on neocon goals.
Such domination has been planned for a long time and will be quite brutal, emphasized the political scientist. William Kristol, the son and the successor of the founder of neoconservatism, said that the US mission in Baghdad had just begun [when the US attacked Iraq under George W. Bush – editor’s note], recalled the political scientist. Another neoconservative Donald Rumsfeld also argued that “Washington will refuse to recognize the Islamic regime in Iraq, even if it will be the desire of the majority of the Iraqi population, and even if this regime comes to power as a result of elections.”
Sergey Kurginyan points to the fact that Francis Fukuyama in his book America at a Crossroads quite frankly discusses exactly how neoconservatives, including Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Pearl, and John Bolton, insisted on the need for some kind of transformative event, which would allow the US to consolidate its domination in the 21st century.
In the tenth episode of the program, Sergey Kurginyan is trying to answer the question of how such a transformative event can be related to COVID-19 and everything that have unfolded around this virus.
