Ukrainian army destroys four houses in the Lugansk People’s Republic over a day

The Ukrainian army’s unit violated the ceasefire on the contact line in the Lugansk People’s Republic one time over a past day, a representative of the Republic at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) on 24 July.

The report reads that on July 23 at 8.55 p.m., the Ukrainian army’s units shelled Frunze from their positions in Krymskoye. The Ukrainian soldiers fired on the village 20 rounds of ammunition using BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle main guns and 50 rounds using ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannon.

Observers informs that the shells fired by the Ukrainian army damaged four residential buildings on Papanin Street 6, 10, 11, 13.

The press service of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic informed that the units of 93 brigades of the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire. The People’s Militia servicemen suppressed the enemy’s fire of the enemy. The Ukrainian army suffered casualties: two people were killed and one person was wounded, the anti-aircraft warfare was destroyed.

On July 22, the JCCC observers registered that the Ukrainian troops opened fire on Znamenka village twice. The Ukrainian military fired 26 units of various ammunition.

On July 22, at the meeting of the Trilateral Commission in Minsk, the Ukrainian side signed a document, in which it undertook to carry out an additional set of measures to implement the ceasefire. The document comes into force at 0.01 p.m. on July 27.
