Ukrainian military attacks two villages in Donetsk People’s Republic over one day

The Ukrainian army’s unit violated ceasefire at the contact line in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) four times over a day, the representative of the republic at Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) informed on July 20.

The report read that the Ukrainian military opened fire on Golmovsky and Dolomitnoye villages on the Gorlovka direction. 33 rounds of various ammunition were fired on the villages.

Observers informed that on July 19 at 4.45 a.m., the Ukrainian military fired six 82mm mortar shells, three SPG-9 grenades on Golmovskiy villages from their positions in the area of Novoluganskoye, large caliber machine guns and small arms were also used.

At 5.45 a.m., the enemy fired seven 82mm mortar shells, four SPG-9 grenades from their positions in Novoluganskoye, large-caliber machine guns and small arms were also used. At 6.20 a.m., from the same position they fired three 120mm mortar shells and 15 shells with BMP infantry fighting vehicle main guns on Dolomitnyy.

At 7.30 a.m., the Ukrainian army’s units fired seven shells with BMP-1 guns on Golmovsky from their positions in Novoluganskoye position.

The press service of the DPR People’s Militia emphasized that the units of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade were deployed in Novoluganskoye.

On July 18, the JCCC observers registered fours cases of ceasefire violation by the Ukrainian army. The military fired 7 times on the villages of the republic.
