Ukrainian army shells a school and residential buildings in Donetsk

Two residents of Donetsk were wounded by shrapnel as a result of the shelling conducted by the Ukrainian army, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) representative office in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) informed on its website on July 16.

As a result of the shelling, residents of residential buildings on Bokiya street, 13A and Bezlesnaya Street, 3 in Donetsk were wounded by shrapnel. In a house on Bokiya Street, 13A, a 59-years old woman was wounded in her leg, and in a house on Bezlesnaya Street, 3, a 33-years old man was wounded in his back.

The facade of the school building on Samarskaya Street, 1 in Donetsk was damaged as a result of the shelling.

On July 15, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire six times. The villages of Kominternovo, Kulikovo, of Trudovskaya coal and Aleksandrovka coal mines were shelled. On 15 July, the Ukrainian armed groups fired a total of 39 rounds of ammunition on the DPR, the small arms were also used.
