The Ukrainian army violated ceasefire in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) seven times over a day, reports a representative of the republic at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) on July 15.
The report reads that the Ukrainian military opened fire on the villages of Aleksandrovka, Dzerzhinskoye, Zhabichevo and on the villages of Trudovskaya coal mine in Donetsk. The Ukrainian troops fired 180 times on the DPR settlements.
Observers informed that at 7.15 a.m. on 14 July, the Ukrainian units in Maryinka fired 40 rounds on Aleksandrovka using the ZU-23 anti-aircraft autocannon. At 1.35 p.m. from the positions in Lebedinskyy, the Ukrainian army opened fire on the village of Dzerzhinskyi using small arms.
At 6.35 p.m., the Ukrainian troops fired on Zhabichevo 15 times using BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle main guns, 3 SPG-9 grenades and 29 AGS-17 grenades from their positions in the village of Pyeski. At 6.40 p.m., the enemy fired on Aleksandrovka 6 SPG-9 grenades from Maryyinka, large-calibre machine guns were also used.
At 7.15 p.m., Ukrainian soldiers fired 30 rounds using ZU-23 anti-aircraft autocannon, 10 SPG-9 grenades from their positions in Maryyinka, large machine guns and small arms were also used. At 7.40 p.m., the enemy fired on the village of Trudovskaya coal mine near Donetsk using 120mm mortar for 10 minutes and 50 times using BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle main guns from their positions in Maryyinka.
At 8.33 p.m., the Ukrainian units opened fire on Aleksandrovka with a 120mm mortar for 4 minutes from their position Maryyinka.
In Aleksandrovka village, a 41-years old woman and a 19-years old young man came under the Ukrainian punitive forces’ fire. Both residents received shrapnel wounds. The DPR servicemen and medics took the wounded to the 14th hospital in Donetsk, there was no threat to their lives.
Also, in Aleksandrovka, the Ukrainian military hit the residential buildings on Lenin street, 251 and 255, the shrapnel damaged the windows and walls. In the yard of house 249 on Lenin street, the Ukrainian soldiers destroyed the garage and the greenhouse, the windows were broken, and the walls were damaged.
On July 14, 2020, the JCCC informed that the Ukrainian Army violated the ceasefire four times. The fire was opened 22 times on the republic. In the villages of Kominternovo and Staromikhaylovka, residential buildings and utilities were damaged.
