The observers registered 12 violations of the ceasefire by the Ukrainian military units over the past day in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the representative office of the republic in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) informed on July 10.
The statement reads that the Ukrainian occupants opened fire on Dolomitnoe, Aleksandovka, Zaytsevo, Nikitovka, Bayrak, Zhabichevo villages, Gagarin coal mine village near Gorlovka mines, Trudovskaya coal mine village, and Volvo Center of Donetsk. During the day, the Ukrainian military fired 105 times.
It was specified in the statement that there were injured persons among the residents of the settlements. The information about destruction of infrastructure and residential buildings is being specified.
Observers registered that on July 9 at 6.40 p.m., the Ukrainian military fired 40 rounds on the the Volvo Center area in Donetsk using ZU-23 anti-aircraft autocannon from the positions near Maryinka village. At 7.15 p.m., they fired on Dolomitny with 120mm mortars for 8 minutes and with 82mm mortars for 3 min from their positions in Novoluganskiy.
At 7.30 p.m., the enemy fired two RPG-7 grenades on Aleksandrovka from the position in Maryinka village. At 7.40 p.m., from their positions in Zhovanka, the Ukrainian military opened fire on the southern outskirts of Zaitsevo village using 120mm mortars for 7 mines.
At 8.00 p.m., the Ukrainian occupants fired four 120mm mortar shells on the Nikitovka direction from their positions near Mayorsk. A 0.4 kV power line was damaged in the village bye the hit of mortar shell leaving houses on three streets without electricity. Fire broke out in a grass field near the village due to the hit of mortar shell.
From the position in Novolugansk, the enemy shelled Bayral village with 120mm mortar for 16 minutes. At 8.15 p.m., from the positions in Maryinka, the enemy fired six RPG-7 grenades on Aleksandrovka, large-caliber machine guns and small arms were also used.
At 8.55 p.m. from the direction of Kodema village, Ukrainian artillery fired 6 shells using 122mm howitzers on the village of Dolomitnoye. At 9.15 p.m. from the Ukrainian positions in Dzerzhinsk, the enemy fired ten AGS-17 grenades on the village of Gagarin coal mine in Gorlovka, large-calibre machine guns and small arms were also used.
At 9.30 p.m. from the positions in Maryinka, they fired two RPG-7 grenades on the village of Trudovskaya mine in Donetsk, large-calibre machine guns and small arms were also used. At 9.45 p.m. from their position in Peski village, the Ukrainian occupants opened fire in the direction of Volvo-Center in Donetsk using small arms.
At 9.50 p.m. from the position of the Ukrainian troops “Anthill”, they opened fire with small arms on Zhabichevo.
On July 9, 2020, the JCCC informed that ceasefire on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic was violated 6 times. The Ukrainian military fired 40 times.
According to the terms of the Minsk agreements, all weapons with a caliber larger than 100mm should be withdrawn from the battle area to the special sites.
