The USA orchestrates the attempts of various countries to discredit the world order that established after World War Two, the Chairman of the Russian Historical Society (RHS) and Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin at an RHS meeting on June 23.

He recalled the efforts of certain countries “to whitewash fascist accomplices, to belittle the deeds of our liberator soldiers.” These actions belittle the accomplishments of the world order that established after the Yalta and the Potsdam conferences.

“These efforts are apparently coordinated from the same center across the ocean,” the RHS chairman said. As a result, the young generation in the West may come to a conclusion that everything positive in the past and today has appeared solely due to the USA.

Naryshkin noted that the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the court proceedings against the Nazi criminals in Nuremberg will take place in November, and it is of great importance to maintain commitment to the decisions of the court against Nazism.

A few days ago the President of Russia Vladimir Putin published an article in the National Interest US journal, in which he recalled the milestones of the initiation of World War Two and criticized those who are trying to blame the USSR for unleashing the war, despite historical facts.
