Lavrov: We will not forget NATO's aggression against Yugoslavia

Russia will not forget the victims of NATO’s aggression against Yugoslavia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov wrote on June 18 in the visitors’ book after visiting the Defense 78 exhibition in Belgrade, the press service of the ministry informs.

“We will not forget the aggression of NATO against Yugoslavia. We bow our heads before the victims of this crime,” wrote Lavrov.

He also noted that Russia and Serbia have consistently advocated strict compliance with the UN Charter and non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.

The Defense 78 exhibition recalls that the aggression of NATO against Yugoslavia lasted 78 days, from March 24 to June 10, 1999.
