Turkish aircraft attacks Kurds’ facilities in Northern Iraq

Turkish Claw-Eagle military operation began this night in northern Iraq. Turkish aviation struck against the facilities of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (KWP), the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey wrote on June 15 on its official Twitter page.

A total of 81 facilities of KWP, recognized as terrorist organization in Turkey, were attacked from the air.

“During the operation, 81 terrorist objects, threatening our country, nation and borders, were destroyed. These include shelters, cache, and caves. The planes returned safely to their bases,” the Turkish Defence Ministry wrote. According to Turkey’s plans, the military operation will be carried out “until the last neutralized terrorist”.

The facilities of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in Sinjar, Karajak, Qandil, Zap, Avashin-Basyan, and Khakurk regions were attacked. Turkey states that only aviation is used to destroy the KWP forces, which Turkey considers as terrorists.
