The Yellow Vests movement has made calls in social media to protest across France, La Depeche reports on May 16.
According to the journal, in many protest groups voices have been raised to take to the streets and to release anger, aggravated by the coronavirus situation, from isolation.
“It is the failure of the Government that lied to us, in particular about protective masks and the epidemic during the first tour of municipal elections, where people were contaminated with the virus,” one of activists Jérôme Rodrigues expressed his discontent.
Nowadays, it its prohibited to organize mass events in France due to the coronavirus pandemic. The latest action of Yellow Vests took place on March 14, 2020.
Today, considerable police forces have been put on standby in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, waiting for the next protest action of the Yellow Vests movement.
