The resurrection of Nazi ideology is rooted in the rejection of the idea improving humanity, which was shared by many antifascists, stressed the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist Sergey Kurginyan on May 10 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on Russia One channel.
According to Kurginyan, US President Franklin D. Roosevelt defined his position to what was happening during the Second World War in terms of ideology, and the great German antifascist writer Thomas Mann was his advisor on a number of issues.
To Roosevelt, Nazi Germany was “humanity’s worst enemy”, and the USSR was “humanity’s friend”. And he allowed for the possibility for uniting with the Communists “on the basis of the will to improve humanity.”
“So, does the resurrection of Nazi ideology not mean surrendering the idea of humanity’s ascension? Is not it an admission that: ‘Okay, we won’t bother with that anymore. People are filthy. And, since they are filthy – then Hitler is ultimately right’?” said the leader of the Essence of Time.
If humanity does not ascend, then it will descend, and it will descend “according to new Nazi schemes,” added Kurginyan.
It should be mentioned that on April 26, Sergey Kurginyan described the three wasy people view human ascension. Humanists believe in the essential ascent of humans, in the awakening of higher internal motivations.
