United States redeploys the most dangerous militants from Syria to Iraq

06.05.2020, Tehran.

The United Stated redeployed the ISIL militants (organization banned in Russia) from Syria to Iraq, national security expert Saad al-Qaabi said on May 6, the Iranian Fars news agency reported citing the Arab al-Ma’aloumeh resource.

“The U.S. redeployed ISIL (organization banned Russia) terrorists from the Syrian areas, liberated by the Syrian army, to Iraq,” the expert said.

According to the expert, withdrawal of the U.S. army from some regions of Iraq “has laid the foundation for returning of terrorists”. The redeployed militants are currently carrying out terrorist attacks inside the country.

The attacks will be intensified in the coming days, al-Qaabi noted. “The ISIL (organisation banned in Russia) is the U.S. trump card for continued deployment in Iraq,” he explained.
