Israeli Air Force strikes a research center in Syria

05.05.2020, Damascus.

Israeli Air Force launched an airstrike against the research center in the city of al-Safira, a Rossa Primavera News Agency source in the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) informed.

“Air defense system responded to the Israeli attack with seven rockets fired from Israeli enemy aircraft,” the agency’s source said. He added that Israeli planes entered Syrian airspace from Iraq.

“They strike a research center in the city of al-Safira in eastern Aleppo and several missiles were shot down,” the source noted.

The Israeli military agency refused to comment on the attack on facilities in Syria. “We do not comment on foreign media’s reports,” the Israeli press service replied to journalists.

Israeli aviation mainly strikes against the facilities of Iranian units in Syria. It will be clarified whether it has been the case this time.
