Ukraine again violates ceasefire in DPR

Ukrainian military violated ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) delegation in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) on April 29.

“The Ukrainian army violated [ceasefire] a total of 15 times over the past day,” reads the report.

The Ukrainian military fired a total of 158 rounds of ammunition. The statistics does not include ammunition with a caliber less than 12.7 mm.

“The following areas/settlements came under Ukrainian army’s fire: Gorlovka (the settlement near the Gagarin coal mine), Zaitsevo, Spartak, Veseloe, Donetsk (Zhabichevo, the area of Volvo Center, the settlement neat the Trudovskaya coal mine), Staromikhaylovka, Aleksandrovka, Yasnoye,” the JCCC communication informed. There was no information on civilian casualties.

Since June 21, 2019, obligation to observe a comprehensive, unconditional, sustainable and indefinite ceasefire between Ukraine and the DPR and Lugansk People’s Republic has come into effect.
