Russian military disinfects 30 facilities in Serbia over 24 hours

Combined Russian-Serbian units of the Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence (RChBD) disinfected 30 facilities over the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry informed on April 27.

The Ministry informed that the disinfection was carried out in the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Novi Knjaževac, Aleksenac, Žitkovac and Kulina.

In addition, four medical teams examined and prescribed treatment to 22 patients, infected with coronavirus.

“Russian military doctors have assessed and analyzed the epidemiological situation, and made recommendations on the implementation of anti-epidemic measures in medical institutions of Belgrade, Kruševac, Bor and Kragujevac,” added the Ministry of Defense.

During the Russian humanitarian mission in Serbia, the RChBD units disinfected 110 facilities in 23 cities of Serbia.

Russian military medics took part in the treatment of over 500 Serbian patients with COVID-19.
