The political degeneration of Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky, which the Russian experts repeatedly predicted, has happened, the leader of the Essence of Time social-political movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 19 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.
“Everything Zelensky is saying is exactly Poroshenko’s rhetoric. This is where he returned. He is speaking approximately the same tone, in the same expressions, using the same inner semantics, the same images etc. This means we have returned to what we had before,” the political scientist stressed.
Previously they used to say that “Zelensky is a different version of Poroshenko, but now it is not a different version, but the same.”
On April 18, Zelensky said that Ukraine will deploy its army units on the Donbass territory as soon as “[Russian] army units leave it.” Also, according to Zelensky, the elections in the Donetsk People’s Republic will only take place after Ukraine takes control over the border with Russia. In doing so Zelensky directly ignored the conflict resolution procedure according to the Minsk agreements.
