The Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) highly appreciate constant assistance in obtaining timely laboratory diagnostics for the novel coronavirus infection being provided by Russia, the Rospotrebnadzor press service reports on its official website on April 13.
The report notes that to date the Russian side has transferred more than 70,000 test-systems for COVID-19 diagnostics to EAEU countries. This is not the end of Russia’s assistance, and it is planned to expand it “by providing additional supplies of test systems, reagents for them and equipment for thermometry“.
In addition, the Council of Directors of the authorised authorities in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population of the EAEU Member States agreed to develop a comprehensive plan of action to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, which in turn will provide for the coordination of the anti-epidemic measures imposed by them within a single epidemiological space.
