A joint patrolling in Idlib province will be renewed after the elimination of terrorists by Turkey, the Russian Defense Ministry Press Service reports on March 15.
The Turkish forces have to clear the territory of radicals in order to secure a safe patrolling of the M4 highway. The Turkish army has been provided with additional time to accomplish this task.
Earlier, the Russian-Turkish first joint patrolling of the M4 highway witnessed an incident, when terrorists tried to incite militaries for retaliatory fire, while using the “human shield” of civilians. Following this incident, the operation was ceased.
