Syrian president plans to liberate provinces of Idlib and Aleppo

The Syrian government army will continue the liberation of its territories in the areas of Idlib and Aleppo, the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad said on February 17.

According to al-Assad, Syria will liberate the occupied areas of Aleppo and Idlib despite the international pressure.
The Syrian government army is advancing inside the areas of Idlib and Aleppo. Reportedly, the government forces currently control part of the road connecting these two cities.

The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called the president of Russia to make al-Assad stop the advance of the army towards Turkish observation posts. Otherwise, the Turkish leader promised to use force.
