Syrian army finds US-made weapons and munitions in terrorist groups

06.02.2020, Saraqib.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has seized US-made weapons and munitions from gangs in the province of Idlib, a source of the Rossa Primavera News Agency reported on February 6.

US-made weapons were found in terrorists’ depots in the city of Kafr Amim in southeastern Idlib. According to the agency’s correspondent, the SAA had liberated the city from the illegal armed groups.

As the Rossa Primavera News Agency previously reported, violent fighting for Saraqib is taking place in Idlib. The Syrian army has encircled the caliphate supporters from Jabhat al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia) and entered the city.

Turkey and Israel are trying to prevent the SAA from seizing Saraqib. The Turkish military shelled the Syrian army’s positions near the city, and Israel made a missile attack against the suburbs of Damascus.
