Hundreds of Pakistanis staged a rally against Trump’s Middle East plan, Turkish daily newspaper Yeni Şafak reports.

Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PFP), which brings together different political and religious parties, organized the rally. On January 31, it began in the port city of Karachi after the Friday prayers.

Demonstrators carried posters with sharply anti-Israeli rhetoric.

“This so-called peace plan is actually a travesty of justice. It even meets Israel’s those demands, which it never made,” stated Muhammad Hussein Mehanti, the leader of Jamaat-e Islami party (an organization banned in Russia) when speaking of the Trump plan.

In Friday sermons across Pakistan, preachers called on peace-loving nations to stand united against the Trump’s plan.

In addition, protest rallies were also held in Jordan and Bahrain.
