The League of Arab States (LAS) rejected “deal of the century” at its extraordinary meeting, according to the final statement adopted by the LAS on February 1.
The League’s extraordinary meeting called “deal of the century” unfair and rejected it. LAS believes that the deal does not meet minimal rights and ambitions of Palestinians as well as violates international law and UN resolutions.
LAS member states are not going to cooperate in any way with the US administration for the implementation of the deal. The League called upon everyone to counter Israel’s attempts to bring it to life.
According to the statement, it is necessary to realize a peaceful initiative adopted in 2002 during a summit in Beirut.
