The resolution calling on political parties and social organizations to join forces in the fight against United States’ neo-colonial policy was unanimously adopted by delegates of the World Meeting against Imperialism in Caracas, Radio Havana Cuba reports on January 23.
The resolution elaborated by several delegations from different parts of the world called for the protection of the sovereignty of peoples, demanding that the White House respect international law.
“We urge political parties and social movements to put together efforts to address the use of terrorism to impose a neo-colonial policy aimed at controlling the natural resources of the region”, the text reads.
The World Meeting against Imperialism began on 22 January in the Venezuelan capital. More than eight hundred delegates from fifty countries attend this event.
