Protesters in London demand Guaidó be taken into custody

22.01.2020, London.

Protests against Juan Guaidó’s visit to the UK were held in London by activists of the movement “Hands off Venezuela”, Prensa Latina reports on January 21.

Protesters gathered in front of the British Prime Minister’s residence to denounce the support that the country’s authorities have given to Guaidó.

The protesters called the self-proclaimed president a US puppet who has no right to claim the post of President of Venezuela and called for Guaidó to be jailed for inciting a coup and calling for foreign intervention.

“Guaidó is a putschist, he is not welcome here,” shouted the protesters.

Earlier, Venezuela announced the creation of a Commission to investigate the US Agency for International Development (USAID) financing the Republic’s right-wing forces, whose leader is Juan Guaidó.
