Protesters in Hong Kong cut a cake shaped like Chinese President’s head

Radical protesters in Hong Kong cut a cake shaped like Winnie the Pooh’s head during an improvised “Sweet Fair” on December 1, a Rossa Primavera News Agency source reports.

Slogans such as ”We will eat the meat of Winnie the Pooh and drink the blood of the Chinese Communists”, were heard during this action.  It should be mentioned that Winnie the Pooh is officially banned in China because of the visual resemblance to the current president of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Xi Jinping.

It is notable that the protesters held the rally near the US Consulate in Hong Kong with the US President Donald Trump election posters in the background

Protests in Hong Kong have not subsided since June this year. Police released data on nine hundred mass actions, the largest had gathered up to a million people. Protesters forced the withdrawal of the extradition law, and won the local elections on November 24, receiving 70% of the vote. 71% voter turnout of 2.9 million people was a record in Hong Kong history.

Chinese officials have not commented on the election results.
