Ukraine faces external governance – Kurginyan

08.10.2019, Moscow.

Ukraine is experiencing a total crisis of the state, which can lead the country to external governance, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 6 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.

Kurginyan noted that none of the election promises that the Ukrainian people voted for at the presidential elections have been fulfilled. The promise to preserve the country’s integrity cannot be fulfilled, because the government apparatus only sees preserving the country’s integrity as a clearing operation in the southeast. The political scientist pointed out that this amounts to calls for genocide.

“Genocide or calls for genocide is not only a violation of Ukrainian law. This is what leads a state that has allowed such calls to losing the status of a normal state. If genocide is exercised in a state, this state must be recognized as a failed state, and external governance must be introduced in it, according to UN law,” Kurginyan explained.

He also noted that Ukraine contains a civilizational rift, and Ukraine has only one way to mend it:

“This civilizational rift must be mended through any and all possible concessions towards the East. Meanwhile, no one wishes to make even one concession.”

One of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s campaign promises was to stop the war in Donbass, to return the “temporarily occupied territories,” and to make Russia compensate for the damage from supporting Donbass.
